Toreads Book Stationery Box

Good evening all

I know I’ve been away for quite a while and I apologise for that. I was in Greece getting married and then I was on my honeymoon.

Now I am back and one of the first emails I had was from Leann asking me to make a sample for the Toreads release similar to the one I made for Moreheads. Well how could I resist?! I loved the shaped cards and I wanted them ALL in one place and that is why I made the original sample. But from this CD-ROM I also ADORED the concertina cards (anything with shape and movement – that is me!) So I’ve created the sample below that aparently everyone loved and I had requests to make a tutorial

I promised I’ve make one so here it is! I took a lot of pictures, I hope that makes it a bit easier. It is not a difficult project but it needs some time. I believe that once you make one you can easily make more quickly.

The tutorial is in a .pdf format so you can save it, print it and make it again and again.  To get the instructions click here  Stationery box tutorial

I would LOVE to see what you created using the tutorial. If you have any problems just leave me a note and I will get back to you.

And if you have time and you want to leave me a little note I would be extremely happy to read it and see what you think.

And another one!

Just another quick sneak peek from Nigel’s A-May-Zing double CD-ROM “Craft into Christmas”. It’s a trifold card (I love making them) with a twist – it has a fourth panel on the front!

I was an idea I had about a month ago. It looks like a normal card on the front and I used the christmas tree decoupage for CD-ROM 2 and added just a hint of glitter…

…but when you open it inside, it’s a trifold card!

I used three different backing papers for the 2nd CD-ROM to decorate the card. I love the vibrant christmas colours – but of course you get them in so many colours that you don’t need to like red and green (but I do!)

The additional images are from a toppers sheet and they co-ordinate brilliantly with everything else. Thank you Nigel for thinking of everything!

Again if you would like a chance to win Nigel’s entire range of  “Craft into Christmas” then just add the image below to your blog or Facebook page and then use Mister Linky on the Crafter’s Companion blog to link to it

Have a crafty day!

Craft into Christmas – Another sneak peek

Good morning everyone!

Not too long now until the launch! Today I bring you an easel card I made with Nigel’s A-May-Zing Craft into Christmas CD-ROM.

The twisted pyramage topper and the backing papers are from the 2nd CD-ROM. Nice and easy straight lines to cut and so easy to put together especially if you are using the Collal Glue Gel which gives you the time you need to align the layers – and afterwards you are 100% sure it will not come apart which is what I find sometimes with some foam pads.

I’ve also used a bit of red card and some gold mirri card. The “Peace” sentiment for the stopper came from the Christmas tree stamp, I just stamped it on red card with Versamark, sprinkled it with Sheena’s Gold fine embossing powder and then heated up with my heat gun.

I believe it is a lovely, festive card which would be ideal to give even to those of your friends who don’t celebrate Christmas but you want to wish them a happy festive season.

If you would like a chance to win Nigel’s entire range of  “Craft into Christmas” then just add the image below to your blog or Facebook page and then use Mister Linky on the Crafter’s Companion blog to link to it

Make sure you watch the shows on Create & Craft on Tuesday 19th June!

Craft into Christmas – Sneak peek 2

Hello hello!

Second sneak peek for Nigel’s new “Craft into christmas” CD-ROM and stamp range.

Today I picked to show you a card I made using the christmas tree stamp. It is a very intricate stamp but was suprisingly easy to colour. In this card I chose to stamp it on acetate with my glue pad (it’s an ink pad that has glue!) and then use some fine gold powder. I left it to dry and then I buffed it. I mounted it on some red card making it into a dome. The gold tree looks almost 3D! I was really pleased with how it turned out. Here it is!

It looks much better up close as you can see the tree pop out. The backing paper is from Nigel’s Craft into Christmas CD-ROM. The punch that I used to make the border is by Martha Steward. And of course some red ribbon!

If you would like a chance to win the whole Craft into Christmas range just put the image below in your blog or Facebook page and then enter a link in the Crafter’s Companion blog using Mister Linky. So what are you waiting for?! I promise you, you will love this new CD-ROM so go ahead and enter the competition to win it and all the stamps!

See you tomorrow with another sneak peek!

Craft into Christmas – Sneak Peek 1

I am terrible! Look at how long I haven’t posted here! :O I need to start posting some images of what I have been doing while I’ve been away from my blog… soon *winks*

But here I am now with something I know you’ve been waiting for! Sneak peeks of Nigel’s new christmas DOUBLE CD-ROM “Craft into Christmas”. Yes double!

For my first card I chose one of the card companions. They are so easy and quick to make but look soooo amazing that are ideal for christmas especially when you have those “Oh no! I forgot to get them a card!” moments (I know I have lots of them…)

A really feminine card for those ladies that really love their high heels (who doesn’t?!) I’ve mounted the card companion onto an A5 card as I wanted something different so if you don’t want to limit yourselves to the design, you have other options. I’ve decoupaged th boot and added some glitter to make it more sparkly. Just a little bit of ribbon and the matching backing paper printed from the CD-ROM and here it is, an A5 card. The little embellishment and the tag are from the same card companion sheet so you don’t need to print anything else!

I’ll be back tomorrow as I have lots more to show you! Make sure you watch the shows on Create & Craft on Tuesday 19th June as you won’t want to miss this!

One more sneak peek for today. Are you all ready for the launch tomorrow? This sneak peek is another decoupage from the CD-ROM

I am so excited because now I can give my favourite decoupage away but always have copies for myself since I can print them again and again from the CD-ROM! The backing paper is from the CD-ROM as well. The metal embellishment was made with the Epiphany tool and the matching metal setting.

Now just leave me a comment below to have a chance of winning a copy of the CD-ROM. I will pick my winner on Friday morning

A bit over 12 hours till the launch now!

Sneak Peek 5 – Paintbox Poppets stamps and CD-ROM

And hello again!

Second sneak peek for today. Just thought I’d give you a little bit more before the launch tomorrow.

This image is from the Reddy die-cut decoupage.

I added a label cut with Spellbinders and embossed with the Large Petal Background Embossing Folder by Darice. It is one of my favourite embossing folders. The backing paper is from the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM and if you want to win a copy simply leave me a comment below. There is still time! I will be picking my winner on Friday morning.

Sneak Peek 4 – Paintbox Poppets stamps and CD-ROM

Hello again!

Here we are only one day to go until lauch and also one day left for you to leave me your comments for the chance to win the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM  that Crafter’s Companion were kind enough to offer!

Today I decided to give you a little taste of the decoupage that is included on the CD-ROM

She is so cute and the decoupage has so much detail and depth. I’ve added a bit of ribbon, some die cuts and a lovely matching button that I created using the Epiphany tool. The little tag and the sentiment come on the same page as the decoupage and they match the frame perfectly.

And now you know what to do. Just leave me a little comment below to be in with a chance of winning a copy of the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM.

And keep checking back for more sneak peeks!

Sneak Peek 3 – Paintbox Poppets stamps and CD-ROM

And you thought I would post today! But here I am. I’ve been a bit ill today and had to come home from work. Still not feeling great but here I am with another sneak peek.

This time it is one of the stamping companions and the boy on the steps stamp.

For those of you who might not be familiar with the stamping companions it is a page that you print out from the CD-ROM and has all the elements to create a card but it also includes a tag which is the perfect size for your stamps.  I went for different colours this time for the stamp but still colouring with my Spectrum Noir pens. All the elements on the card (apart from the little piece of thread) come from the stamping companion on the Paintboc Poppets CD-ROM.

And if you want to get your own copy of the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM just leave me a comment below and I will select one winner out of all the comments on my Paintbox Poppets sneak peeks on Friday using the random.org website.

Watch out for more sneak peeks!!!

Sneak Peek 2 – Paintbox Poppets stamps and CD-ROM

Hello again!

Here I am with another sneak peek and another chance for you to win the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM

I chose to show you another stamp because they are my absolutely favourites. They are so detailed and intricate and look simply amazing! Like this little girl below – her shoe laces, the flowers, even down to her eyes, all the details are there. You really have to look at the stamps up close.

I’ve used my beloved Spectrum Noir pens to colour her in and Leann’s technique from the DVD for colouring in really tiny areas – it works! The beautiful backing paper is from the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM. All the papers in the CD-ROM are stunning and they will work with so many other projects, especially all your die-cut Paintbox Poppets decoupage. The flower corners were cut with April, my eCraft machine – she’s done a good job, hasn’t she?!

For your chance to win a copy of the CD-ROM and see the tons of lovely stuff on there just leave me a little comment to let me know what you think of the Paintbox Poppets stamps so far, what you think of the whole range, if you’ve have some of the decoupage or simply say “Hi!”

And keep checking back – you never know when the next sneak peek will pop up!

Love, Nandia
