Good morning all

As promised here I am nice and early on Friday to announce my winner of the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM!

I put all the comments in a list by date with 1 being the oldest and 83 being the most recent (irrespective of which sneak peek post they were in) and then used the random.org website to generate a random number. And that number was…. 23!

Going back to the list and finding number 23… the winner is…. Marla H who posted a comment on Sneak Peek 2 on the 6th March at 7.08pm

Congratulations Marla!!!!!

A bit over 12 hours till the launch now!

Sneak Peek 5 – Paintbox Poppets stamps and CD-ROM

And hello again!

Second sneak peek for today. Just thought I’d give you a little bit more before the launch tomorrow.

This image is from the Reddy die-cut decoupage.

I added a label cut with Spellbinders and embossed with the Large Petal Background Embossing Folder by Darice. It is one of my favourite embossing folders. The backing paper is from the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM and if you want to win a copy simply leave me a comment below. There is still time! I will be picking my winner on Friday morning.

Lots of love, Nandia xxx

Sneak Peek 4 – Paintbox Poppets stamps and CD-ROM

Hello again!

Here we are only one day to go until lauch and also one day left for you to leave me your comments for the chance to win the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM  that Crafter’s Companion were kind enough to offer!

Today I decided to give you a little taste of the decoupage that is included on the CD-ROM

She is so cute and the decoupage has so much detail and depth. I’ve added a bit of ribbon, some die cuts and a lovely matching button that I created using the Epiphany tool. The little tag and the sentiment come on the same page as the decoupage and they match the frame perfectly.

And now you know what to do. Just leave me a little comment below to be in with a chance of winning a copy of the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM.

And keep checking back for more sneak peeks!

Sneak Peek 3 – Paintbox Poppets stamps and CD-ROM

And you thought I would post today! But here I am. I’ve been a bit ill today and had to come home from work. Still not feeling great but here I am with another sneak peek.

This time it is one of the stamping companions and the boy on the steps stamp.

For those of you who might not be familiar with the stamping companions it is a page that you print out from the CD-ROM and has all the elements to create a card but it also includes a tag which is the perfect size for your stamps.  I went for different colours this time for the stamp but still colouring with my Spectrum Noir pens. All the elements on the card (apart from the little piece of thread) come from the stamping companion on the Paintboc Poppets CD-ROM.

And if you want to get your own copy of the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM just leave me a comment below and I will select one winner out of all the comments on my Paintbox Poppets sneak peeks on Friday using the random.org website.

Watch out for more sneak peeks!!!

Sneak Peek 2 – Paintbox Poppets stamps and CD-ROM

Hello again!

Here I am with another sneak peek and another chance for you to win the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM

I chose to show you another stamp because they are my absolutely favourites. They are so detailed and intricate and look simply amazing! Like this little girl below – her shoe laces, the flowers, even down to her eyes, all the details are there. You really have to look at the stamps up close.

I’ve used my beloved Spectrum Noir pens to colour her in and Leann’s technique from the DVD for colouring in really tiny areas – it works! The beautiful backing paper is from the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM. All the papers in the CD-ROM are stunning and they will work with so many other projects, especially all your die-cut Paintbox Poppets decoupage. The flower corners were cut with April, my eCraft machine – she’s done a good job, hasn’t she?!

For your chance to win a copy of the CD-ROM and see the tons of lovely stuff on there just leave me a little comment to let me know what you think of the Paintbox Poppets stamps so far, what you think of the whole range, if you’ve have some of the decoupage or simply say “Hi!”

And keep checking back – you never know when the next sneak peek will pop up!

Sneak Peek 1 – Paintbox Poppets Stamps and CD-ROM and a little treat!

Good morning all!

I am back with a new sneak peek and some exciting news!

You know how you used to buy the Paintbox Poppets decoupage but it was too pretty to use on cards as you wanted to save it all for yourself? Well now you can use your decoupage and still have copies for yourself (something like having your pie and eating it too – yum!) with the new Paintbox Poppets stamps and CD-ROM!

I have a little sneak peek for you today. It is one of the stamps, a little boy standing on the steps.

I loved colouring this image, he has a lot of folds on his trousers and top and at first I thought I’d be in trouble (since I am not exactly that good at colouring) but it turned out to be a lot easier than I thought! Of course my lovely Spectrum Noir pens and watching Leann’s DVD helped immensely! The backing paper is from the CD-ROM and the round sentiment stamp is from Crafter’s Companion as well!

And here is a little bit of something for you! Crafter’s Companion have kindly offered a Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM so if you would like a chance to win it all you have to do is leave me a comment below.

I will be giving you sneak peeks on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as well so if you keep checking back and leaving me a comment after every sneak peek then you’ll get more chances to win!!!

I will pick my winner on Friday 9th March after 8.00am using the Random.org website.

Keep checking back for more sneak peeks but also visit the blogs of my DT friends (links on the right) to see their sneak peeks.

So leave me a little comment to make my day a bit brighter but also have a chance to win a Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM!

Paint Fusion CD

Hello everyone!

Here I am once more and this time I am bringing good news for everyone who always wanted to get their hands on some of Sheena’s Paint Fusion but don’t want to use paints and colours and water or people who love Paint Fusion but wish there was a way of doing things even quicker. Well now there is! The new CD-Rom from Sheena will let you have all the fun of creating stunning pieces that look like they’ve been Paint Fusioned without having to get your hands dirty and in a fraction of the time. Just Select, Print and Craft your heart out! And the results are so realistic that you really have to come up close and examine the card to tell whether you painted it or you printed it.

What do you think?!?!

The CD-Rom also includes backing papers, inserts and some amazing embellishments for you to decorate your creations. Just grab some watercolour card (it looks stunning when printed on this card) and you are set. Simple!

Will be back soon with more sneak peeks. Until then enjoy crafting!

Butterfly card – Playing with April

I know… I know… I’ve been bad. I haven’t posted in sooooo long. But with Christmas, Christmas cards, my PTLLS course (it’s a teaching course for those of you wondering) and some other ‘project’ I am working on there hasn’t been much time or inspiration for anything else. I’ve been feeling drained for a while.

I am coming back slowly and one of the first cards that I did was with April’s help. April is my eCraft machine, she is named April because I got her in April as a birthday present from my fiance – one of the first to be sent out from Crafter’s Companion. I could never have done this card without April as I wouldn’t cut all those layers by hand (I am patient but not THAT patient!)

The cutting file is from SVGCuts. It’s the Edisto Island Cards SVG Kit from their Premium Collections. It is a really good kit and I bought it because there are many individual files I could use even from just one card (there are 6 cards in the kit but with LOADS of extras)

April cut everything perfectly! The backing paper that I used was really thin and I was so worried that it would rip but I used a pressure setting of 4 and cut perfectly! I was so pleased with myself that I got it right the first time but since I’ve had my machine now for a while I can sort of guess what pressure to use correctly. The main body of the card  was made from Core’dinations card cut with pressure 7. It is better if you have doublesided patterned card for this project but since I wanted to use these papers and I wanted pattern on the inside as well I flipped some of the files and lined the inside of the card as well. The eCraft software did that and when the files were cut they matched perfectly!

Here is a view of the card from the side so you can see a little bit inside

And also one of the card laying flat so you can see the beautiful detail on the flowers.

I usually prefer to design my own files to cut but this way I has a lovely card in a short amount of time and since I haven’t been feeling very inspired lately it just helped me feel that I have accomplished something. It only took me a couple of hours on an evening to do!

Today is the day!

Good morning all!

Launch day today, are you excited? In just a few hours you’ll be able to order your own SWALK Winter Cheer stamps and CD-ROM.

Here I am with my last sneak peek and it’s all about partying!

It’s called “Time to celebrate” and it makes me want to party! I’ve used Nestabilities to make the shaped easel card and some Core’dinations card for matting and layering. The stamp was coloured with my Spectrum Noir pens. I have added a tiny bit of glitter on the image to add some sparkle. The backing papers are both from the SWALK Winter Cheer CD-ROM.

I am looking forward to the shows tomorrow. Unfortunately I will be at work until 4.00pm so I have already set up the box to record them. Can’t wait to see what Leann has prepared for her demos, I love getting ideas and tips!

Love, Nandia
