SWALK Pawfect Pals – Sneak Peek no.3 for today!

And here I am again!

I know you want to see more before the launch of the SWALK Pawfect Pals range tomorrow so I thought I would give you another image. This time it’s a dog! Every SWALK character in this range is shown with a pet/animal so this range is perfect for all the animal lovers out there.

I coloured this little person as a boy but you could easily turn the character into a girl by changing the colour of the outfit. And of course the dog would look just as lovely in black, brown or even purple if you are feeling brave! I used my Spectrum Noir pens to colour the image, the Petite Dots embossing folder by Crafter’s Companion and a backing paper from the Pawfect Pals CD-ROM for the background. Hope you like it!

SWALK Pawfect Pals – Another sneak peek for today

Hello hello again!

I just had to give you another sneak peek for today! I had so much fun colouring these stamps so I have to show you!

This one is the little princess kissing the frog. Isn’t she cute?!

Again, I used my Spectrum Noir pens to colour the image. To make the heart shaped easel card I used the Crafter’s Companion Ulti-Bags board. See? You don’t have to use it just to make boxes! The backing papers are from the SWALK Pawfect Pals CD-ROM. The stamps and the CD-ROM will be released on Friday so make sure to check the Crafter’s Companion News Blog for more information and more sneak peeks!!!

SWALK Pawfect Pals

Hello all

I have a little sneak peek for you today. It’s one of the new SWALK Pawfect Pals stamp. And yes, it’s a kitty! It’s no secret that I love cats so I can immediately drawn to this image.

I used my Spectrum Noir pens to colour this image in purple. But then I thought that she would look good in red as well so I created another card with the same stamp

The backing paper is from the Pawfect Pals CD-ROM. Most papers have a lovely texture and they look really good.

You have to wait a little bit more before you can get your paws on this stamp and CD-ROM – but it’s not long now, Friday is almost here!

Make sure to visit the Crafter’s Companion blog for more information and for more sneak peeks!

SWALK – Butterflies

I can’t believe it’s been so long since I last blogged… It feels like it was only last week. I have no idea where April went it’s now May and June is approaching fast. Gah! I need more time in my days!

The weather has been horrible, so much rain and cold… I need some sunshine in my life, I need something to recharge my batteries!

What really helped me cope with all this bad weather is colouring these beautiful new SWALK stamps. Butterflies! I wish the weather would get better so we could see some butterflies but for now here are some coloured ones.

The image is coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and I was a bit bold adding blue ribbon but it worked! I think that blue and red is now probably my favourite colour combination! The rainbow and the cloud along with the sentiment are on the same plate. I’ve masked the cloud and stamped 3 overlaping eachother. I also used the little individual butterfly that also comes on the stamp plate and added one on her hat and one on the sentiment. And of course the clouds needed some glitter!

I also took a little close up as I am very proud of how that hat turned out! I think the Spectrum Noir are turning me into a better colourer (or colour-iner… or something like that…)

I will put the Spectrum Noir pens numbers I used on here later as I don’t have them with me at the moment.

Oh and I almost forgot! Make sure you enter the Crafter’s Companion competition over at https://www.crafterscompanion.co.uk/members/competitions.html
for a chance to win the 12 new stamps and the Resource CD – together they are worth over £60!!!!!!!!

Good luck and see you soon!!! 😀

Sneak Peek 2 – Paintbox Poppets stamps and CD-ROM

Hello again!

Here I am with another sneak peek and another chance for you to win the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM

I chose to show you another stamp because they are my absolutely favourites. They are so detailed and intricate and look simply amazing! Like this little girl below – her shoe laces, the flowers, even down to her eyes, all the details are there. You really have to look at the stamps up close.

I’ve used my beloved Spectrum Noir pens to colour her in and Leann’s technique from the DVD for colouring in really tiny areas – it works! The beautiful backing paper is from the Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM. All the papers in the CD-ROM are stunning and they will work with so many other projects, especially all your die-cut Paintbox Poppets decoupage. The flower corners were cut with April, my eCraft machine – she’s done a good job, hasn’t she?!

For your chance to win a copy of the CD-ROM and see the tons of lovely stuff on there just leave me a little comment to let me know what you think of the Paintbox Poppets stamps so far, what you think of the whole range, if you’ve have some of the decoupage or simply say “Hi!”

And keep checking back – you never know when the next sneak peek will pop up!

Sneak Peek 1 – Paintbox Poppets Stamps and CD-ROM and a little treat!

Good morning all!

I am back with a new sneak peek and some exciting news!

You know how you used to buy the Paintbox Poppets decoupage but it was too pretty to use on cards as you wanted to save it all for yourself? Well now you can use your decoupage and still have copies for yourself (something like having your pie and eating it too – yum!) with the new Paintbox Poppets stamps and CD-ROM!

I have a little sneak peek for you today. It is one of the stamps, a little boy standing on the steps.

I loved colouring this image, he has a lot of folds on his trousers and top and at first I thought I’d be in trouble (since I am not exactly that good at colouring) but it turned out to be a lot easier than I thought! Of course my lovely Spectrum Noir pens and watching Leann’s DVD helped immensely! The backing paper is from the CD-ROM and the round sentiment stamp is from Crafter’s Companion as well!

And here is a little bit of something for you! Crafter’s Companion have kindly offered a Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM so if you would like a chance to win it all you have to do is leave me a comment below.

I will be giving you sneak peeks on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday as well so if you keep checking back and leaving me a comment after every sneak peek then you’ll get more chances to win!!!

I will pick my winner on Friday 9th March after 8.00am using the Random.org website.

Keep checking back for more sneak peeks but also visit the blogs of my DT friends (links on the right) to see their sneak peeks.

So leave me a little comment to make my day a bit brighter but also have a chance to win a Paintbox Poppets CD-ROM!

SWALK Winter Cheer – Sneak Peek No.5

Good morning again!

Here we are with sneak peek no. 5! Pink colours today. I made an acetate easel card, a little thing I came up – it looks like the topper is floating.

She looks like a fun grandmother, doesn’t she? I used my Spectrum Noir to colour the image in. She might have grey hair but I think that her pink outfit makes her look really modern and funky.

The backing papers are from the SWALK Winter Cheer CD-ROM, I told you I really love that gingham paper with the snowflakes. Not long to go now until you get your own stamps – just 3 more sleeps to go! Are you excited about the shows? I know I am!

SWALK Winter Cheer – Sneak Peek No. 4

Hello all!

Here I am again. It’s Monday, not really my favourite day of the week but oh well….

I have another sneak peek for you! This time it’s the “Snowmen fall from Heaven” stamp.

I chose purples and pinks for this stamp and I used my Spectrum Noir pens. I took a close up of the stamp as well.

The card template with the snowflakes frame was cut by my eCraft out of Core’dinations card.

I created the template in the eCraft Shop Pro programme, it was sooo easy. I love the freedom eCraft gives me. I can design whatever I want, I am not limted by sticky mats and I can cut up to 12inches wide and whatever length I want (This card is 5.5 inches square). If you don’t know what this eCraft I am talking about is then you better have a look at the Crafter’s Companion website under Craftwell

Have fun crafting and have a lovely day!

SWALK Winter Cheer Blog Hop

Hello all!!!

Another day and another sneak peek! Today’s stamp is Snowflakes are little kisses. I made a little pop-up easel card. The backing papers are from the SWALK Winter Cheer papercrafting CD-ROM. Of course the image has been coloured in with my Spectrum Noir pens. A few snowflakes and some Core’dinations card and  it’s all ready. I created the template for this card based on a book of pop-up cards I have. I enjoy mechanical cards sooooo much! If you’d like the template just let me know.

Humphrey in Daddy’s shoes

Another little Humphrey image for today. This time it’s little Humphrey wearing his daddy’s shoes.

The image is from the new Humphrey’s Corner stamps that were launched on Friday by Crafter’s Companion and it is called “Father’s day”. The stamp plate includes the main image of Humphrey, 3 sentiments (“Happy Father’s Day”, “Special Dad” and “For my daddy”), the little shoes stamp and the tie stamp. So you have all the embelishments to create a father’s day card, a birthday card or any occassion card with little Humphrey.

Father's Day

The papers are from Humphrey’s Corner papercrafting CD-ROM and I have used an insert as a backing paper. I cut the topper with a Nestabilities die and mounted it on some blue card before adding it in the centre of the insert. I used a Martha Steward punch for the corners and then mounted them all together on another backing paper from the CD-ROM.

The main image as well as the two embelishments were stamped on Neenah card and coloured with the Spectrum Noir pens. If you don’t have yours already then you might just make it if you run to the Crafter’s Companion website (just click on the name of the pens above). Leann was demonstrating them on Create and Craft at the weekend and they were very popular!

Have fun crafting!

Love, Nandia
